Gateway to Wealth – what an intriguing name. Keith Wellman and Gary Ambrose organized a lineup of good speakers, a room at Orlando’s Crown Plaza Hotel big enough for 200 people, and visitors flew in from Canada, Mexico, Italy, and all over the US. Three of us from Washington State found each other.
The speakers offered many tips on information marketing and some neat software. One of the experiences we had was to each call out our name at the same time – we got a lot of sound but it wasn’t comprehensible. Next half the room called out “Eric” while the others still shouted only their own. We heard Eric loud and clear.
The point was made – we need friends. In Our Daily Bread, a devotional book, they made the same point with reference to Eccl. 4:10 – find one or two who can come along side you, pray for you, talk with you … In a conference like Gateway To Wealth I leave with lots of information but it’s the personalities that make it unique.
